Details

HomeAdvisor has a number of different match types in order to fulfill service request in different markets. This has caused some confusion in users as to how they were presented certain service professionals.

The goal was to create a simplified match type that would help increase customer satisfaction and also help deliever quality leads to service professionals as they are more likely to win a job when the customer has chosen to speak to them.

Service Professional Listing

While the function of the "Book Appointment" remains the same as the previous match type the look of the Service Professional Listing cell got a face lift. 

I've made the Request Quote the primary CTA as the Book Appointment became the secondary CTA.

Custom Alert Design

The UX of this new match type product has a lot of different alerts that the UX team and I collaborated on how we could have custom alerts instead of applying a regular iOS or Android system skin to them.

As this new match type looks to uplift customer satifscation as well as provide quality leads for service professionals, the UX team thought through how a simple introduction can go a long way. 

Currently, the Consumer Choice match type is being tested in various markets. We at HomeAdvisor hope this can be the future of our match type as it looks to maintain and elevate customer satisfaction while also providing incredible leads to our service professionals.
